Hotpoint Freezers
54Many consumers look to Hotpoint Freezers when shopping for a new freezer. One of the major reasons for this is the large selection of freezers that they offer. Below, I briefly run through the major choices in the Hotpoint Freezer product lineup, and analyze the different configurations available.
Hotpoint manufactures three different deep chest freezer offerings. I will start with the smallest first. The baby of the Hotpoint chest freezer range is a 4 cubic foot (100 liter) unit. This is a very small freezer for a chest model, but still enough storage for many buyers.
If you need a more traditionally sized large chest freezer, Hotpoint has two offerings that are significantly larger. Both these models include two freezer baskets which assist in the organization of the contents.
The large Hotpoint deep chest freezer has a very generous capacity of 10 cubic foot (280 liter) which is more than enough for the average family’s needs. Even hunters and fishermen may have trouble filling up this unit.
Hotpoint Under Counter Freezer
There is really only one basic model of under counter freezer offered by Hotpoint. It has a capacity of 3 cubic foot (80 liters) which makes it a good choice for couples or small families.
Hotpoint sells many different variants of this unit, but they are all very similar except for a couple of minor differences.
The first is that the different versions of this built-in freezer are available with different finishes. Apart from basic white you can also find stylish stainless steel finished models. Secondly, a small price premium will allow to step up from a manual defrost model to an auto-defrost freezer.
Hotpoint Over Counter Freezer
In this category, Hotpoint offers two basic upright freezer models. One is 5 feet (150cm) tall, and the other is closer to 6 feet (175cm) in height. Unsurprisingly the major different between these two Hotpoint upright freezers is capacity.
They do however play the usual multiple variants game. Each model is available with a variety of finishes; and with or without automatic defrost functionality. This creates the ever so common plethora of model numbers frequently seen in the appliance world.
With these different types of Hotpoint Freezers available to choose from, most freezer shoppers will be able to find a unit that is suitable to their particular needs. For more information on selecting a Hotpoint freezer please visit http://www.fridgefreezersite.com/hotpoint-freezers.
